boys will be boys

Every now and then I get a child that is just not happy to have me photographing them for a good hour or so. Lewis was the first in a long time. I tried extra hard to ignore and pretend that I wasn't actually there just for the photography. It usually takes time to warm up to someone new and I am not kidding when I say that the warmth didn't come until the very end of the shoot. Looking back, I actually couldn't be happier with the photos. (I was nervous!!!)

I had the chance to photograph my cousins for the first time. I am not going to say much because the photos speak for themselves and I have tons of photos to put up. So thanks Kara, Mike, Connell, Maeve and Jillian,. I love you guys!!!!!

It was pretty hot & humid the afternoon I photographed Kayla. I am not used to that kind of weather. More surprised was Kayla! Being bundled up all winter I witnessed her touch her first grass. Her response was mixed confused/interested. It was pretty cool to see. She was all smiley and happy throughout the photoshoot which works well for me!
