the art institute

I had some fun hanging out with Jen and Melissa downtown this past weekend. We hit up the Art Institute of Chicago and did some shopping. They are creating a modern art wing that is hoped to be completed by next summer. There was a lot of construction, galleries closed, and pieces in storage because of building. Good thing it is a huge museum with one of the most impressive collections that there was still too much to see. Besides getting yelled at a handful of times.....it was a nice trip.
